Planning and Scheduling
The system is designed to obtain a forecast or a list of sales orders. The orders can be extracted from sales forecasting systems or manually captured.

The system handles a 2 – 6 week window. Items are planned for a week, priorities are set and time availability is taken into consideration. Teams are planned.

The system schedules/ loads the items into the week according to target throughput/capacity.

The loading, as well as the material requirements, are checked.

The what-if method us used until the factory loading is correct. The agreed plan bacomes the Master Production Schedule.
